Educational Qualification

Here are the details regarding the ECGC PO Educational qualification for the Probationary Officer.

Generalists: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from an Indian Government-recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Govt. The candidates must possess a valid mark sheet/degree certificate indicating he/she is a graduate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while applying online.

Specialists (Rajbhasha/Hindi):

(i) Master’s degree in Hindi /Hindi Translation, with English as core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University;

(OR)

(ii) Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective/major subject at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.

(OR)

(iii) Master’s degree in any discipline with English and Hindi as core/elective/major subjects at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.

(OR)

(iv) Master’s degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi translation with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.

Exam Pattern
